Tim Irwin
SeniorPastor
Pastor Tim has been married to his wife Janet for 36 years. They met at ECU and have lived happily ever since...kinda sorta. They have 2 children and 3 grandsons. Pastor Tim and Janet started serving in ministry together while on staff at Englewood Baptist in Rocky Mount, NC back in 1998 and then with Creekside Fellowship here in New Bern (now River Bend Fellowship!) Pastor Tim graduated from Southeastern Seminary with a Master of Divinity in Counseling but his heart is simply telling people how much God loves them and how much God wants to be a part of their lives.
Matt Simpson
Worship & Students Pastor
Matt has had the privilege of enjoying the best of both the River Bend and Creekside congregations. Matt has been with Creekside Fellowship from the very beginning (2011) while growing up at River Bend Baptist. For most of his time at Creekside he has been the worship leader with one exception of going off to school (University of Mobile to study worship). Matt enjoys most athletic endeavors and spending time with people. Matt is also a gifted and committed worship leader and also leads our recreational ministries.
The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way.
